How do I get paid as a contractor?
We pay bi-weekly through direct deposit. We require that you upload your direct deposit information to our contractor profile. A link to the profile will be provided to you in advance. You will earn the gross amount as we do not deduct taxes, CPP, EI and benefits.
How do I record my hours?
Every Monday you will receive text with a timesheet link. You will input your hours yourself including time in, time out and break times. This will be approved by your supervisor and then sent directly to accounting.
What are the hours?
This is a full-time position; approximately 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday. Every job site has different starting and ending times.
What equipment is needed? Where can I get it from?
In order to enter the job site, it is required that you have the appropriate PPE which includes a hard hat, safety vest and safety boots. A mask is also required in compliance with COVID-19 mandates and regulations. You can purchase all these things at your local Wal-Mart, Canadian Tire, Mark’s or anywhere that sells them.
Where are your work sites located?
We have work sites all over the Greater Toronto Area and the surrounding cities. We currently have work sites in Kitchener-Waterloo, Milton, Brantford, Brampton, Toronto, Etobicoke, Whitby.
Is this temporary or permanent work?
We onboard workers onto our roster on a contract basis, so the work is regular but it is temporary from site to site. Once you are on our roster, our goal is to get you working and keep you working!
